“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take a step.”

— Naeem Callaway

What is coaching?

I love the analogy of a bow and arrow. You may feel like you are under a lot of stress and tension, moving backward and away from your target. But an archer knows that it is this very tension that will launch the arrow forward. It is necessary and powerful! Every experience in your life has brought you to this point. Every setback you have endured can be used to propel you and give you momentum. It's your time to fly.

Coaching bridges the gap between where you are and where you want to be. When working with a professionally trained coach, you will gain a tremendous amount of self awareness, discover your passions, experience increased self confidence, and FINALLY overcome the obstacles that have gotten in your way in the past. You will have breakthroughs and experience a new level of satisfaction in life as you successfully reach your goals. It is truly life changing!

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching and therapy are both really useful tools for gaining self awareness. Both are confidential and are built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect. However, there are some major differences as well.

In therapy, you process past trauma and faulty thinking. I am a huge believer in therapy and recommend it to anyone who is having difficulty letting go of the past.  I would be happy to refer you to an excellent therapist if this seems like a better fit for you right now.  However, sometimes people just feel stuck.  They want to move forward but find themselves overwhelmed, struggling to stay motivated, and unsure of how to navigate obstacles in their path. This is where coaching comes in!

Why coach with Ashley?

I have seen the power of coaching firsthand and love being a part of helping others discover their strengths and reach their goals! I am a Certified ADHD Life Coach thorough an ICF accredited program and have over 10 years of coaching experience. I love working with kids, teens, and adults and believe everyone can benefit from the coaching process.

I attended Western Governors University with a focus on Elementary Education and have many years of experience working with people diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia, and sensory processing disorders. I also have a teenage daughter with ADHD and know exactly how challenging that journey can be for both the child and the parent.

I truly believe coaching has the power to transform  lives!

How long until I see results?

I want to ensure that you get value from every single session. My goal is that you have amazing takeaways each time we meet, including our very first session together. Think of it like a personal trainer. If you hire them for only one session, you will get a great workout, but it takes time and consistency to see lasting changes. For this reason,  I recommend a minimum of 3 months to establish new patterns and  neuropathways.

How do I get started?

I offer a free 20 minute consultation. No strings attached. It's so important that we are the right fit for each other. I can answer any questions you may have and it will give you an idea of what to expect if you'd like to move forward.

Do you accept insurance?

While coaches do not accept insurance, I can provide you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. There is no guarantee of coverage but some clients have had success getting partial reimbursement.
